Shekhar Suman recently opened up about his relationship with Kangana Ranaut years after her split with his son, Adhyayan Suman. The actor, who had previously made controversial remarks about Kangana, such as accusing her of practising black magic, has now expressed that he has moved on from the past and holds no grudges. The former couple, Kangana and Adhyayan, met on the sets of Mohit Suri's film Raaz - The Mystery Continues in 2008 and dated for a year before their tumultuous breakup. In a conversation with Zoom TV, Shekhar was asked if he would consider reconnecting with Kangana now that she has ventured into politics and is aligned with the same party he supports. The 61-year-old shared, "We are not hanging on to it - neither the family nor Adhyayan. It was a phase in their life. Who are we to comment and judge? The biggest problem is when we become judgmental. We have moved on, and everyone is pursuing their own happiness and fulfillment. There is no value in looking back, pointing fingers, or passing judgment on what is right or wrong."




Reflecting on his son's relationship with Kangana, Shekhar acknowledged that they were not meant to be together. With a shift in perspective, especially as he gears up for his role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Heeramandi, The Great Indian Laughter Challenge show's judge emphasized the role of destiny in relationships. "Destiny has its own plans, and one must follow its course. Kangana and Adhyayan had moments of happiness together, but they eventually parted ways as destined. There are no hard feelings or animosity between them. Sometimes, emotions run high in the heat of the moment, but it's important to look back with fondness," he stated.

Shekhar highlighted the importance of recognizing that individuals evolve through different phases in life, and what may seem right at a certain point may not hold true in the future. His evolved perspective on the past relationship dynamics between Kangana and Adhyayan reflects a sense of maturity and acceptance, emphasizing the significance of embracing growth and moving forward without harboring negativity or resentment.
